What Is GSM?
GSM stands for grams per square meter. Simply put: it indicates how heavy the fabric is.
👉 The higher the GSM, the heavier and often more durable the fabric.
👉 The lower the GSM, the lighter and more breathable the shirt feels.
Why Is GSM Important in Workwear?
When it comes to workwear, GSM says a lot about how a shirt performs:
- Durability: higher GSM = often more hard-wearing

But keep in mind: GSM doesn’t tell the whole story. Quality also depends on the material, weave, and finishing.

Lightweight shirts are ideal for warm days or jobs that require a lot of movement. They feel breathable, allow plenty of freedom of movement, and stay comfortable throughout the day.
